Replacing a blade in a hair clipper

This did not affect the performance of the machine and the quality https://jiji.ng/12-car-windscreen of the haircut, the machine worked for another 3 months before the arrival of the new blade.
Once again on a business trip, turning on the machine, I heard an unfamiliar buzzing sound and saw that the ceramic blade was standing still and not moving. For everyone who uses machines with a similar blade, there is reason to think about a spare. New blades arrived in a simple plastic envelope wrapped in bubble wrap. But one day she gave me a surprise, as below. The blade is completely identical to the one that stood, the only thing is that it is dry and needs to be lubricated. I didn’t throw out the old blade, I put it in the box from the new one and it rides with me so far. If it bursts again, then I adapted it into a case and carry it with me even on business trips. Two months of use of the new blade showed that the blades cut well.

Replacing a blade in a hair clipper

Faith and truth, the previously reviewed hair clipper has been serving me for more than two years. Charging the battery lasts for 3-4 months, taking into account the use every 2 weeks. Two holes were burned and a broken L-shaped fastener was crimped with wire (I think that most likely poor-quality plastic, or this fastener is not sufficiently reinforced, which is why it burst, because the design is similar to branded machines, my old Philips with the same design is 15 years old worked and did not burst anything), it turned out the following. Having removed the nozzle with blades, I found that the L-shaped mount that holds the spring for pressing the upper blade to the lower one burst (I did not take a photo of the broken one, it was somehow not up to it.). The reason is most likely a design flaw, although the machine could have been hit during the trip, but no damage was found on the body. I’m not going to change the machine yet, I had a chance to use the branded Panasonic, as I didn’t like the haircut. The L-shaped fasteners (as well as the quality of the plastic) look identical, time will tell how long it will last. Because the machine is urgently needed, it was decided to try to repair it from improvised means – a piece of knitting wire, pliers and a lighter was found.
